There really isn't much in the game so far, yet it seems pretty promising.Screenshots? You got it! Screenshots coming right up! :)
It's well-made and is semi-visually pleasing, though the moving stuff gets annoying.
I'd suggest putting some screenshots in the first post if you want people to play it.
I'm so not looking forward to it, because they're probably going to suck, but who knows!Making a boss for the first time can be a little daunting, I made my first boss when I started working on a fangame myself. I did post a simple example a few weeks ago if you're interested. It doesn't seem like much, but it's the basic principle that I use to make boss fights.
Well there isn't much of a game yet, but the graphics look pretty appealing so far.
There are quite a few games lately that copy the effects from I wanna kill The Guy aren't there? Not complaining, they're good effects after all, but a bit originality in that regard would be nice. Still better than the stock IWBTG saves I suppose.
As for the level design, that Tutorial level seemed a bit like trigger-overkill if you ask me. How many of those vines in the third screen fell one after another? You shouldn't rely on non-stop triggers of random stuff. Have some enemies or difficult jumps every once in a while to mix it up.

Can't wait to see more progress on this.
You can skip a small part of the Bullet Bill section (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTaXryMqTiY).
Other than that there's not much to say about the new update, except world 2 looks a lot like way too many triggers again (And that save trigger was just unnecessary, at least let the player save at the start of the new world instead of forcing him to go through the map screen 3 times, that doesn't add challenge it's just a waste of time.)

The new castle section looks sweet though.
.....An IWBT game is supposed to have a lot of triggers! So far, yes, I have added quite a few, but if you know what you're doing, you barely have to put any effort into trying to avoid the triggers. Your point is invalid, i.m.o.Well-placed ones, yes. The original IWBTG would've been only half as fun without them, but you gotta know how to surprise people. 5 Falling vines in a row or the first save-point in the new world without you having accomplished anything yet isn't surprising, it's just a waste of time. Try to put yourself into the players perspective and pull of traps that no one would expect and dare I say, even make them laugh?
Sorry, I want to give this game a try, but I seem to keep on getting this message when trying to open the game:

Try putting the game inside its own separate folder if it is not already.
