Title: How do I make the music not restart after death? - I wanna be the Engine Japan
Post by: SpaceH3R0 on October 31, 2015, 08:32:25 am
I'm making my fangame with I wanna be the Engine Japan and each time I die the music starts over. I don't want that to happen. I would like it to stop while the death music plays and then it continues but where it stopped. Please Help! :kid: :fruit:

The only way this is possible in GameMaker is to add SSound or another extension, and glhf with that.

can't you just put the music object as persistent?

in that sense the music will, unless you make a switch room event with proper code, overlap when rooms switch

If I make the music object persistent, wouldn't it overlap with the death song or other room's music?

Btw I switched to IWBTE yuuutu so maybe it works differently there
