well, i dont mind the fact that is microsoft only, i plan on making some small games for windows before trying to do a big project for XBOX, so yeah, i think i'll take on C#, now i just have to find some good tutorials and/or books to learn some more, BTW, has anyone of you worked with C# + XNA before? because that's what i want to do.

It's been 11 hours cool your jets. It isn't my type of game and I deffo won't try it without a video or screenshots to show what I'm trying.

Nice lookin' game Indigo, not too keen on the sprites mind you.
it looks like that becauase they overlaped each other, that isnt supposed to happen, that screenshot is more of a glitch than a preview to be honest

of course:

first: you said that the ultimatum thread looked like a bunnch of ponyfags complaining about a game being hard, what the hell? first , you dont need to say ponyfags, that was totally uncalled for and its completly unnecesary, also, did you even played ultimatum 2? did you even read the complains? did you even looked at some of the screenshots?

second: a final boss that is almost impossible and just adding a congratulations screen....seriously? why even bother making a game or a level if you are just going to throw a hard ass final level if you are going to say.."sorry guys, i dont feel like making a good and challenging final boss, game over", the game already has bosses (they suck but at least it has some) , why not add a good final one? why even bother continuing with the project then.

Working on the final level right now. Also read the feedback on ultimatum which just sounded like a bunch of ponyfags complaining that an IWBT game is too hard.

I promise this will be insanely hard. I think this should be enough as a grand finale.
Don't expect to beat the final boss either, I'll probably just give you a congratulations screen for getting there, then it's up to you to fight and keep losing (it will still be possible, only stupidly hard)

I'll come back here in a month or two with the final release. get your butts ready

No I'm not. The character in I am bored too is practically 99% original. Yours is not. I'm saying you can't take credit for it's entirety. You seriously can't compare the two characters. No more de-railing please, if you want to post about your game add more content.
why wont you look at that chars feet, and placement of arms first!

my character was made completly from scratch, i left the feel in the same place because i didnt wanted him to glitch out, and the gun, because i didnt feel like adding a new X and Y center....so yeah, shut up

also, you need to ask my permission to use my character

I want to ask an open question to the forum. I am in the process of incorporating Boss Rush into the game. Should I have times for each level of difficulty, or should you only be able to fight the bosses on a single difficulty level (likely Regular PWNage) when playing Boss Rush?

I ask this because the difficulty level affects bosses' HP and attack patterns. Please leave a response, and don't forget to try out the latest beta!

i think its better if you add times for diffrent difficulties, in that way , you will allow people that is not so good for this games (like me) to still have a go into the boss rush, a lot of games fail to do this making the boss rush only for PRO players
Okay, having different times for each difficulty sounds like a good plan. Now I should just ask: how should I go about timing the player? Should I just keep a record of the shortest time it takes to beat a certain boss and discard the deaths? I feel like I may have painted myself into a corner having the trial gate challenges unlock each individual boss.

have you ever played the challenge levels on portal 2 ? those that you are supposed to beat really fast?
well, do something similar , in portal 2, they count your time, and also how many portals you used, so you can compare the 2 variables with your friends on steam, so , why not do the same, exept that with time and deaths....and also...withouth the whole online thing of course XD
