Keyboard. It's the original for all PC games. =)

Uh, so? My old Mario 3 game had headless Toads in the Toad houses.

This reply is so random that you don't know what it's replying to.

I actually never use my Wii (It's boring as all hell when you only have Wii Sports for it)
Well THERE'S your problem.

Exactly. But I don't really care that much until I have a chance to get SSBB. Then my Wii will be used.

No help with abort problem?

It's a GameMaker error popup. Give him the details that the error box says so he can fix the problem.

4 shots is the CORRECT LIMIT.

It is, it only changes at the Clown Copter Trio segment. Well, that's the only change I ever experienced. And autofiring is done with macros I believe. I'm not sure how it's done though.

But this is just a pointless topic. Be a man and stop whining about the max bullet limit changes.

I actually never use my Wii (It's boring as all hell when you only have Wii Sports for it) and I barely use my DS. You funny little spoiled kiddies and your must-have-new-gen-systems attitudes. ^_^

Enjoy your vacation Kayin.

I can't decide between the Ghosts n Goblins segment and the Mother Brain battle. Both are the bitchiest parts for me to get through.

Help! / Re: How to dodge the FINAL apple?

I tried holding right, and pushing right repeatedly, and the third time I just jammed wildly on all the keys. None of them seem to work. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here, but I can't be THAT stupid if I managed to beat the whole game, right?

Unless I somehow incurred brain damage during the last boss...

You're doing it too early. Try it again and press a button when you're DIRECTLY below the apple. If you go offscreen or if it falls early and you run into it, too bad.

I actually got a headache from this game. (No pun intended)

But there's really no need to post this kind of stuff.

I didn't really see why you switched to MMF2, seeing as GM can be really easy to use if you know what to do: I was able to make shitty yet playable games with it in 6th-7th grade or so. You just need experience to be able to use GM well.

Anyways, I've been keeping up with the game by watching your somewhat-weekly development journals, and it looks good as of now, but needs better enemies. The turrets are just, meh. Unless you plan to keep them that way for level 1 and make better ones later, I suggest you add in something to make them harder. Maybe make one that shoots bullets at your position, or have them shoot randomly instead of at a constant rate.

Other than that, looks fun. Do want.

GM6 games don't work on vista. You need to get the GameMaker Converter and it'll solve all your GM exe compatibility problems.

And for .rars, I suggest 7zip. You don't have to pay for that program.

I'm actually doing one as we speak, but as of now it's just a few unsubmitted videos. =/

Game Design! / My projects.
« on: February 10, 2008, 08:31:08 pm »
So, something you guys should know about me is that I make games. Well, most of the time I just experiment with shit, thinking I was gonna make it into a full game. But I've had around 10 abandoned projects. Oh well.

Anyways, some stuff from me:

Boxy (Theres a few update videos I throw onto my YouTube channel, which is here.)
HexiBlast (It's a game about exploding hexagons, but it's a puzzle game.)
MetallicTerror (All it is as of now is a couple sprites.)

I use GM7 Pro for all my project. (Yes, the one you have to buy.)

Anyways, when I get around to posting screenies, I will soon.
