Save works fine for me. Make sure disable some effects is off for the guys castle. If it still dosnt work then redownload i gess.

Ah. I'm guessing disable some effects turns off the flames then. Kayiiiiin! *shakes fist*

My Lappy got wiped recently, so I lost my save files. So I'm working through Hard to beat it again and get my save files back, and it fucks up in the castle of The Guy.

Basically, I load it up, make the flames drop, and they don't appear on the floor. And no matter where I jump on the floor, it's instant death. Halp plz Kayin!

And just to clarify, I think it probably did this because I fought the dragon dude, and we both died at the end, but for some reason when I hit 'R', my guy spawned in the castle, so I thought "What the hey, I should have had it by now it if weren't for the damned lag I'm getting", and saved.

I went over to her house today.  She complained about the bullet bills and the Tetris room for about twenty minutes, but she didn't get mad at me.  That's a plus.

To be honest, the fact that she got past the bullet bills and to the tetris room so quick is a bloody good sign.

And after she's done there, she goes to the next level of hell. It starts with a "K" and ends with an "irby". :p

Really REALLY great try, but Derby is spelled, well, Derby.

There are no words with "irby" at the end aside from Kirby, sorry.  I asked the English language.

It doesn't matter if it didn't work, it sure made me rofl.

The shooting glitches so much, most of the time it IS only 3 bullets on screen at a time.

Usually only in certain areas though, like KKK.

Eh, the latest build seems to do it everywhere. It's made my VH runthrough, thus far, hell.

I gave up (for now) on the G&G section. No matter how many times I do it, the spike tunnel will always be EVIL in my eyes.

That entire section is pure evil. Having to go for (to my memory) Mike Tyson, to the screen after the spike corridor was cruel. Thank god I got lucky and got it first shot. Then having to do the rest of G&G, beat Mecha Birdo, and claim the egg all in one swoop. MB gives me the most trouble out of any of the first six bosses, and getting the orb always gets me. I always hit the tip of the first missile, ugh. I had to beat MB roughly 10 times before I finally managed to snag that orb.

Haha, that's awesome.
The description for Delicious Fruit and Spikes are hilarious. My only annoyance would be having a picture of The Guy, that takes away some of the surprise or whatever. Same with the sword being an enemy. Shit like that was good as a surprise, it'd suck to have it given away by the instruction book.

But overall, pretty fuckin' mint.

A friend of mine who still attends recently told me that all the kids in her class are now playing IWBTG. One of them was explaining it to her, and she's like "I already know about it. My 2 brothers play it." they asked her how far they were, and she said "One of them's beaten it, at least twice." (Note: Me and her brother are best mates, so I'm considered part of the family)

It amazed me at just how big this game is getting. I mean, none of the people at school found out about it through me, yet they've found it, and it's spread throughout the whole school.

Just thought you'd like to know that you're now responsible for the horrible grades the kids over at Fairhills High School in Victoria, Australia are going to be getting

Also, if any of you are on the forums, post itt.

6 months left? I'd say she will, with some time to spare, and do it again in VH.

I'm currently doing a VH run, and after finally getting through the utter horror that is Dracula and Mecha Birdo (Dracula due to having to do the entire part without saves, Mecha due to having to do half of the G&G section, beat her, and capture the egg with no saves. I have enough trouble getting that bloody egg.) I'm currently up to the minecart ride. Those caution strip jumps get me every freakin' time.

If she can beat VH, I'll tip my hat to her.

UPDATE:  She's at Dracula, and is very angry with him.  She's also broken past 2000 deaths.

She thanks you for her support!  She promised the internet nude photos nothing when she gets through with it.

Today, anything that I said that even remotely reminded her of Dracula pissed her off to the point where asking her any questions later would make her angry.  She really wants to be the guy.

I hope she manages to get over 10,000 deaths.
