At the beginning his moves shouldn't be too hard so, with some practice what you should be able to do is wait for him to appear, jump hit him twice, jump hit him twice...to get in 4 shots before he disappears. repeat twice more. you will now have hit him 12 times. it takes 13 for the ectoplasms to appear. dodge his attacks, and wait for him to do an attack that will give you a long time to shoot at him (like the flame attack). then spam as much as you can. stand in the middle, and try to get the ectoplasms to come at you. jump over one of them, and try to get them in the same spot. what i did here was stand on the right side (so the double ball thing wont hit you) and shoot the ectoplasms as much as possible. then, whenever i had a chance, and they were really far away, i would get to the middle and hit him as much as i could. i think it takes 17 more shots...but im not sure,
