Bug reporter here !

I "accidentally" pressed Q before Zoop's battle begins and...

Code: [Select]
action number 1
of  Step Event
for object zoop:

Error in code at line 26:
       if player.frozen == 950 {

at position 16: Unknown variable frozen

Oh, glitch found :)

If you double KO the Reaper boss, you can avoid the Game Over by letting the animation go on ; you will still be warped to the next area. There was the same glitch at the Dopefish in IWBTT.
This one has a funny consequence though : if you land your final shot while the Reaper destroys your last platform, the only way to win will be to press 'Q' before falling off screen ;D

(By the way, did anyone else make sure they killed themselves a few times on the "Only  :fruit: in the game"?)

I found TWO cherries in the game :)
(hint : the second one is in a secret area, you've probably been killed by it without knowing it was actually a cherry)

My strategy for Koffing was waiting until the pokeballs flood the screen, then go for a quick kill.
That rather worked, since Koffing's attacks are fairly easy to dodge if you don't hit him.

There's a bug at the face boss.
If you die before the begining of the fight, the game crashes because of "unknown value y".

@jbaptistic Heh, it's supposed to trick people into hitting B.

Won't work after the intermission.
It might trick people into replaying the game and see if hitting B triggers something, though

It seems to end at the credits. I used a trick to wait without having to hold right but nothing happened.

Actually, you should make a secret if the player does press "B" during the princess scene  ;D

so what lacks in hardness makes up for in hilariousness?

This. :)

Also, could you edit your 1st post when you make updates of your game ?

Come back when you're a little, mmmmmmmmmm, RICHER !!!

(Oh, and btw, the program works for me. Except the 0 seems more to be played at 1000Hz, not 0Hz :)
It'd also be cool to play random notes quickly instead of Pi, plus it doesn't force the program to stop)

Beat both games.

Actually, i didn't like the first one. Just pure trial&error, a bit like Koopa Suicide, making the game too straightforward : you just spot the traps then rush to the exit.

However, the second one was quite good IMO. Challenging, fun, with various levels and tricky parts, a few puzzles... very nice. Too bad you can't save your progress, though : I'd love to replay some levels (i beat the water part without really knowing what i was doing ;D).
Also liked the rotating level, but maybe a bit too long. You might want to split it into 2 harder parts, then put these parts in different worlds, so that the player can recover from his dizzyness (I spent about 10 minutes beating this level and my death counter doubled on it, so i was happy when things got back to normal)

A few suggestions for both games :
- Implement the "restart" button. It's a bit annoying to wait until your blood has covered all the place to have another shot.
- Make it possible to save your progress, or at least replay any level you want after you have beaten the game (a password given at the end could do the trick)

Good luck for your 3rd opus ! :)

I found a glitch at the Dopefish !
Just die during the fight but let him finish his run. Your Game Over will be cancelled :)

When the next beta comes out, which will hopefully have the final boss in it, then most of the tracks will be loaded from an external source.

You mean it won't be playable offline ? (not that it really bothers me, though)

There's a bug at the face boss.
Just before the fight, I killed myself with a red circle, then the game crashed because of "unbound value y".

Also, the loading time is quite too long. Does removing Zoop's quotes make it faster ? If so, just forget them, don't just add an option to turn them off.

Because all your base are belong to us.

Nice one.
Actually, because you only use 5 digits (0,2,4,6 and 8).

More precisely :

Convert 111 to base 5. Then double the answer as though it was in base 10.

Actually, replace all the 0s by 0, all the 1s by 2, all the 2s by 4, etc.
That's totally equivalent, but I think it makes the solution a bit clearer.
