Yeah. I think it might have been in Pickory or IWBTFG but I'm not sure.

Fangames! / Which game had Kazuma's dragon death scene?

I seem to remember a game where you fell down a pit and were caught by Kazuma and the dragon from Cave Story, only for something to kill you since you no longer have control. I can't remember which one it was, though. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Megaman is only worse than Sonic before you've learnt his pattern. Due to randomisation, Sonic will always be worse than Megaman once you've practised both bosses.

Yes, the Cheetahmen boss is brutal. Absolutely brutal.

Yeah, well when I was editing my save, I also gave myself 9999 Rupees to buy the cube. Nothing happens.

By the way, I didn't edit my room number; I just gave myself the third key. I forget how, but it was really obvious.

It worked for me this time, but it took ages to load. Ages. So anyway, I'm missing one secret. Any idea which one it could be?

Never mind, I've found it. I should have seen it before. <3 so that's all of them.

Are the first Zelda 2 screen and the Guile boss supposed to run really slowly? Oh, and the Zelda 3 screen too.

EDIT: What do I do with the external boss battle? It wrecked my IWBE save when I ran it, and it didn't appear when I clicked bosses. There's still one boss missing there. Is it supposed to unlock a character, or is it just something that didn't make it into the final version?

Oh yeah, I found those safe spots too but didn't bother to mention it. You still have to be careful in the upper part of the room though, so it doesn't make much difference really.

It's broken. No-one has been able to complete it yet so don't even bother trying.

OK, I'll try again. One other thing - I picked up the cherry. Why can't I see it in the Achievements screen? I can see a big face with rainbow hair there (yeah, I know how I got that), but no cherry.

EDIT: I still don't know what to do at the boss. It can shoot through the walls. How the hell am I supposed to hide from its lasers? Is this supposed to be intuitive?

Sorry for the bump but I found this game in TC's sig. There's a problem with the music. Instead of playing, I get a window entitled C:\DOCUME~1\...\a41980.mp3, which takes the focus away from the game every time I press R, causing me to have to click on the game again. So I get no music and I get that. The taskbar icon is the same as the icon for IWBP. What's causing this glitch? It doesn't happen in other Game Maker games I've played.

The death music works fine, though. And when it does play, the other window closes temporarily, till I press R. And the second area's music works fine too (the IWBTG starting area theme).

Oh, and I keep dying for no reason against the first boss. Yeah, when he turns red, sometimes he blasts me with a red laser, but also sometimes I die without him blasting me - the green lasers appear, I hide behind a wall and I die anyway, even though no red laser is fired. I'm giving up for now because I think it's a glitch.

So the game isn't going to be fixed so it works on my old computer? Everything else I've downloaded works fine so please, just optimise it with cleanmem or something, so the rest of us who don't own 2013 computers can actually play it, please?

Now I understand why Slenderfman won't add this to the thread of best games - because it won't even start for many people!

In the room which is used for Chapter 3's Time Trial, there are two shortcuts. The first one was already mentioned before, but the second one is near the end - you don't need to go near the two flip arrows at the far end of the room. Is this intended? I think it might be, because I was unable to complete the time trial if I didn't skip them. But maybe the room should be changed so that in the normal game but NOT the time trial, you shouldn't skip the two arrows? Maybe make it so that there's either an extra laser in the normal game that requires use of them, or put a coin in there or something. As for the first shortcut, I'm sure that's unintended anyway.

EDIT: Actually, yeah, it is possible without using either shortcut. I was doing it wrong. So maybe the second shortcut is unintended as well? Basically, what you do is this. When you reach the column with two red/green switches and are falling downwards with the lasers off, you simply use your mid-air jump to the right, skipping everything to reach the end.

Just for everyone who doesn't know, the first shortcut was to use the first barrel, hit the ceiling then mid-air jump left with good timing to reach the switch on the floor. From there, you can easily jump to the next switch on the floor and to the exit, making sure the lasers are off.

So, to Geezer, was the second shortcut unintentional as well? And I have to say I prefer v0.52's Chapter 1; the "new" partial version you released just doesn't seem as good - it's already been nerfed enough! And remember what I said before - don't change something just because people might have seen it. If you've got good ideas for something, leave it as it is.

To the above poster, I managed to do something similar by doing that glitch you mentioned. I ended up in a different part of Chapter 4 upside down, by using Chapter 3's Time Trial. Now, the interesting thing is that if you go off to the right at the start of the time trial, it puts you one screen right of where you were before in Chapter 4 (or whichever chapter you were in). Now, if you press R and go off to the right again, you're one screen further right again! Eventually, it stops letting you go right since you've reached the edge of the map. (Yes, I've now got there, in that room!)

I hope I didn't miss anything. I left the game on in the background. If you get the final achievement, do you get a special message or just the usual box in the corner at the point of getting it?

Oh yeah. You know you can jump over the second spike wall in the starting area? There's barely room to jump over it under the hole where the gate closes. It saves having to wait for it to retract etc.

Removed references to it, sorry. But it is kinda obvious, and the second one I got after no. 1, though.

I found another music bug in the bike shed. If you press Q in there, you get two lots of Pokemon music playing over each other, and one of them won't stop until you get to a loading screen.

Actually, it might have been R (or maybe M), not Q, now that I think about it. You'll probably work it out.

As for those walls not being solid, I thought it was deliberate. I thought you'd eventually program a room to the right of there, and give the player some way to get there (or leave it as an easter egg for savejumping). And the non-solid walls in the MN room help you save from the right side of the room. I even tried savejumping over the gap rather than using the sticky walls.

One other thing I forgot to mention. In the darkness challenge final room, the right wall is only solid in the dark. As soon as you get the lantern, you can go through it. There isn't a lot over there, but it's worth a look. Strange that that wall changes from dark to light, seeing as the rest of the room doesn't change - you can still reach the end in the dark.

EDIT: There's a problem with Mewtwo but it's a spoiler so I'm PMing you.

Oh, and what's the point of the penultimate room in the timed section? You can go straight to the door or take the long way round. But why?
