well this shitty online schooling thing (That I have not been able to get out of for the past...six? years. Not sure how long it's been) has a whole algebra lesson on it. And I haven't been able to do it, so I'll have to wait till dad gets home.
Here's the thing though. You can't do other algebra lessons until you've completed the earliest one possible that hasn't been completed. This means that every day I can't do this, it means more shit piles up.
And same goes for the other fields. Chemistry, English, history (History isn't hard though, it's just p much a copy/paste of what they've been repeating for the past six years)
Chemistry feels like half "Why do I need to know this", and half "When am I ever going to use this".
English is..well, I don't really need more lessons on how to WRITE LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN. Although I just can't seem to grasp adverbs, even though I've read the wikipedia page for it about ten times every time it asks me a question about those. Also why do I need to know the different kinds of pronouns, ffs. I don't write books.
Algebra is..well, I definitely need help from there and there, but I literally spend usually from 9, 10, 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. a day just trying to understand what they're trying to teach me, but they use the most bare-bones, "Well DUH it works like that" examples. I'm not saying give me something incredibly stupid, but I'd like an example that I can understand, other than going "But wait, the questions added all these other variables and nomials, what about those!" and having the fucking thing not tell me because it's essentially a piece of paper I'm looking at, and not an actual teacher.
Or I might just be a stupid fuckhead, that's also a big possibility, as I've never really been able to complete a single year of this before (or during) the summer.
And I can't get out of it because my parents won't let me go back to normal school, because they think i'm just lazy and I wouldn't be able to adjust to normal school. And hey, if it worked for my older brother, who is now in college and is almost done with it, then it'll work for me! Public schools are /worthless/ compared to this, no matter how much I want to massacre everyone associated with Switched On Schoolhouse for being the worst thing ever.
