Well, I just got through the first hour or so of the game.
The horror feels more subtle this time around. The darkness is also not nearly as oppressive as The Dark Descent's.

Three years after the release of the original horror game, the sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent is now out. I've already downloaded it. Anyone else plan on playing it?
I've read some reviews. The consensus, from various sources such as Polygon and Kotaku, seems to be that this game is shorter and less scary than the original, but the story is even more psychologically unnerving.
