Suggestions and Bug Reports! / Glitch during Bowser/Wart/Wily

Ok, everything in the game was just fine, and then after I fought against Wart for the first time, I noticed when Wily appeared, I could only fire 2 bullets on the screen at once. I didn't do anything except nearly break my fire button on the bullet bill, But on my other saves it works just fine. My friend was saying I should just wait a while and let the game sit there, But I let it open for 3 days and it hasn't been fixed. Any ideas?

Help! / Uhh problem after saving...

I was playing on medium, and I noticed at the room with the falling star and a lightning bolt, then there's a bunch of floating squares with 4 spikes around them (Near the game over room). There was a save point at the area near where the lightning bolt spawns. I didn't know it would happen, but I saved when I was standing on the platform, and everytime I restart, I appear dead because the lightning bult spawns too each time. Anyone know how to fix this if there's a way without starting all over?
