Suggestions and Bug Reports! / Impossible as a 'Save Point'?

I just started playing on "Impossible" mode again today

and now I have found this....

To my surprise I was able to make it all the way passed the dreaded Tetris room without dying. ^_^ But I died in the 1st Kirby screen shortly after. >_< But... you know what....

I RESTART IN THE TETRIS ROOM!!!!!! Every single time I die now, I start in the Tetris room.

I was actually brave enough to try IWBTG on Impossible mode yesterday.

But... that's when I discovered this....

Every time I make it to Mike Tyson, the game, for some reason, closes the doors on me before my character even enters the room. As such, he is left running into the door and can't continue his quest.

What's going on?? T_T

I'm currently in the room where you have to jump from teleporting platform to teleporting platform, and I've noticed that you can, as the platform is appearing, actually get stopped in the middle of the platform (when it appears) and be able to jump like you were on top of it.

Still didn't help me clear the room though.

I've also noted that you can embed yourself into a platform while its respected sound is playing....

In part 12 of UltraJMan's playthrough of IWBTG (I can provide the link if interested), when he reaches the highest block in the first room, he jumps BEHIND the staircase and lands BEHIND the staircase underneath the passage that leads into the 3rd room. He can't do anything there, but I couldn't help but laugh for a moment about that.

Is that supposed to be there?
