Best way to get miax hight and distance is to hold down jump and don't double jump again until the kid is about to fall or has fell for a moment. Also jump in advance. Don't wait till that ball is up in your grill.

Unfortunately I think this is a problem with MMF2. I'll look into it, as I find it annoying to know people have to do that.

I find people have problems with jumping at first, since it's a highly controllable jump The whole "press and hold -> press again and hold" seems to take awhile for people to get the feel for.

But yeah. The kids gun is hilariously useless for 90%  of the game and I do not regret this.

I never liked Sonic or any genesis games. Like... any. I can't think of one. Maybe if I think really hard...... Ah... ah.... Shadowrun?  Not that I hate Sonic or the genesis or anything but they hold no nostalagia or interest to me.

For the record though the Symphony of the Night sprite is just an edit of the SNES Castlvania 5: Dracula's Kiss sprite and Alpha 2 (where the Zangief sprite is from) is from the SNES.

Not that I actually thought about that when I made the bosses, Just saying.

Goddamn Z-boss.  I don't know if I'm missing something here, but it looks like I'm supposed to wait a very long time (at least 3 platforms) before attempting to climb up during the third phase of the boss.  Otherwise, I run out of useful platforms and drop down so I can climb back up again, and he kills me with an unavoidable flame attack while I'm still standing on the first platform.

Was this unintentional, or just there to make him the biggest pain in the ass ever?  It's not even tricky at this point.  I keep dying to unavoidable spike deaths while dodging an attack during his second form, or missing that first platform jump because it spawns higher than all the later ones.  Then I fight his boring green ass for another 2 minutes before I can get back to the third phase.

I would suggest making the first platform spawn and move like the others, and have some spinny projectiles flying around to make things more interesting.  Also maybe you could have him give a visual cue before he starts spitting hadokens?  It's a very cheap attack compared to the others.

Final edit: YAAAAAAAAARGH!  McDohl tells me the highest platform is indeed useful.  Why did I not even try to jump on it?

Unfortunately, no. MMF has no mac support and likely never will. Even if it was made in something else (besides say.. Flash), I wouldn't have a mac to test and compile it on.

Sadly this is one of the costs of having a mac. =/
