Most of you change your name and avatar every week.  How do you know who is who?  The only people I remember are those who don't change their names every week and Ybbald.  Ybbald changes his name practically every day, but I know who he is because of his post count.

General Discussion! / Team Fortress 2 Free-To-Play (In case you didn't know...)

In case you hadn't already found out, Team Fortress 2 is free to play.
It has been free for a bit over a week now (from what I remember).
If you have a Steam account but no TF2, I'd suggest getting it.
It is a great game, and what's even better is you don't have to pay now.
If you don't have a Steam account, go make one and then get TF2. :P
Sorry if this thread was already made; I couldn't find it when I searched.
I hope to see some of you in TF2 now that you don't have to pay.

If this sub-forum is for "threads too shitty for the other boards", why are "threads of shit quality... deleted on sight?"  That really doesn't make any sense at all.  Also, why is Ybbald allowed to make as many shit threads as he wants?  Not all of them are that bad, but there are quite a few... :/

I'm really wondering about why the amount of time it says is so small.
I have been here for about 1.5 years, and this is what my logged in time says:

I have no idea why the number is so small when I should have a bigger total.

I know that Time Logged In isn't really important, but I was just wondering.

Just a quick question:
Can anyone help with the IWBTG jumping mechanics in MMF2?
I've used it before, but jumping mechanics are a pain in the ass to get right; especially double jumping.
I asked vertigoelectric for help, but he said it's really complicated, so I figured I'd ask here.

My friend on this forum is making a fangame for IWBTG (how unexpected :P) and this is what he has so far.  It isn't much right now and he's fixing a CRAPLOAD of stuff, but just try it out.

Recently, I've been obsessed with making maps in Team Fortress 2, and I had this idea a long time ago.  Now, I have most of the skills I need to make the map, so I figured I would.  This is a Scout-jumping map and this is the second map I've ever made.  I'm keeping true to the original game by having the same block textures, same platform spacing, and I'm even keeping the same fail texturing on the spikes.  For proof that this is being worked on, here are some screens:
