Followed what you said, it didn't work...

Tried seeing if there was a problem with the cable connecting to the router. We called some computer people and they said it was the cable. They replaced the cable and the internet worked.

edit: The cable was the one attached to the router and the plug in the wall for the cable.

Alright, here's the deal:
My laptop has been crashing a lot giving me BSoDs (Blue Screen of Death). I turned it in to people to fix it. They got it fixed and now I'm on the Internet doing random stuff. The problem is that since I moved, I need to connect to the Internet by wifi. But, my laptop cannot dected any devices that has wifi.

Here's what I checked:
Wifi detection on laptop: ON
Wifi device power: ON
Make sure if the device is in range of my laptop: MY LAPTOP IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE DEVICE
Check to see if any other devices are interferring between my laptop and the device: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING INTERFERES

If any of you reading this knows the problem, PLEASE reply.

P.S. I am currently connected to the Internet by cables or whatever they're called. I also called the people who fixed my laptop, explained the problem, but they said that they had no idea what's causing it.

The bill is just worded wrong as said by a lot of YouTube commentators. Plus, why would you want to make this bill when it affects the first amendment? To me, if this bill was passed, the US would be like communist [insert communist country here]. Now, I'm not sure about you guys, but thats how I feel.

All this talk about this bill shutting down pretty much all videos about video games like IWBTG, music, and everything else made by you all and posted on YouTube or any other place is starting to make me worry. Now, an exception will be if you get written permission, if I'm not mistaken, from the owner of the video game, music, etc. to be able to make an LP (Let's Play) or anything on that video game, sing a song/music, etc. to be able to post it onto YouTube or anywhere else. We will pretty much be living in the Dark Ages when there was no Internet.

1. Open up Notepad
2. type in:
x=msgbox ("whatever message you want",0, "whatever title you want")

3. Click on "Save as..."
4. Type in:
whatevernameyouwant.vbs
5. DON'T FORGET THE .VBS
6. Open the VBS file.
7. If an error occurs, you typed something in wrong.
8. Have fun!

NOTE:
If you want to have more popups appear after you click on Yes, No, etc on the first popup, type in the same thing in step 2 underneath the first one.

Ex.:
x=msgbox ("HI!!!!!",0, "What?!")

Check this link for more stuff on how to create your own popup. Don't follow the steps there. Use the vid for numbers.
