I'll be releasing IWBTGravity Alpha 0.3 really soon! I remastered the Stage 1 to make it look better and built half Stage 2.

Yeah, kinda. It's mainly because is a weird mashup of real life stuff in a non-realistic game

The game I'm working on is called Vulvatongue. It's hard to describe the gameplay, but it's an experimental on-rails shmup (in the sense that the border rotates and changes gravity/direction as it moves).

The art style is mostly an homage to British 70s animation, and is a cross between Mr Benn, Roobarb and Custard & The Yellow Submarine.

The game runs smoothly but due to my inexperience with gifcam's compression settings and a relatively weak laptop the gifs are kinda framey and lose some graphical quality.

(Since it relies so heavily on animation and visual cues, having small impediments like this can affect how it looks a lot. The gifs aren't a great representation of the final product).

You'll have to go into the imgur album as loading the the gifs takes a looong time and I don't want to lag computers.

Gameplay wise: There are going to be three 10-minute stages that each culminate in a boss. Maybe two extra 5 min stages in between if I have time before I start uni. You collect money from killing enemies and between stages can use the money to level up certain attributes and get perks. Aside from the rotating border and changing gravity the gameplay is a fairly standard shmup affair tbh. It plays a lot like Gradius/R-Type apart from its not one-hit kill, you have a regenerating health bar and the more you get hit the lower the max health is so eventually any shot will be a one-hit kill. It sounds really lenient but even at max health colliding with any bullet for around a second will kill you, it's just to protect you from light taps.
