Oh god sorry guys, I know I said there would be an update soon, but I was busy with life a little, lol.
..And I just needed to get out a little before I got into work mode again.
How do you add code in the level editor?
Also, you need to add an option to mute the music.
Also, you need to make it easier to exit.
You can't add custom code to objects yet, but I plan to do so sometime.
I will add a toggle sound/music button next version, good idea.
I used to have it so it instantly quit when you hit the Quit button, but someone suggested that it should take you back to the title screen. I'lol have to think of an easier way to do this. Thanks for the suggestions.
Oh. How do you make 1. Platforms move 2. Enemys
Enemies would require custom coding, which I will add later to the editor. Along with enemies I will be adding custom Bosses to the editor too.
In the next version for the Editor, there will be:
-Option for custom music
-You will be able to put the start point in any room (for easier testing)
-Attempt to fix a couple of bugs
-Individual room options (room wraps horizontally/vertically, size of the room [width/height])
-More objects to place
In the next version for the main game, there will be:
-Chapter 4 main boss finished
-Chapter 5 finished (except for the main boss)
-Chapter 4 challenges
-Fixing a bug where challenges wouldn't give you coins on completion
-Mute button
-Fixing the Chapter 3 chest item
-Making the Chapter 4 miniboss a little easier
-Adding a level or two in Chapter 4
Most/all of that list will be completed (No promises though). But the Chapter 4/5 finishing will definitely be done.
Also, I saw Ludor's Strange Cave level. I was surprised to see how much he understood how the levels save in the .txt file. It was neat seeing how much potential I could add to the Level Editor. I loved your level dude
