I've started making a map - got all of the route through the Graveyard up to Mecha Birdo. Haven't beaten the boss yet on this run to carry on. I suppose I could just use my existing save, but that's gonna be inconsistent...

Oh, and since on it I'm trying to mark the difficulties at which various saves appear, can anyone list which saves are available on Very Hard for me?

I've been considering making my own map, sometime over Spring Break. What program are you guys using that can handle huge images?

I'm using Photoshop, though it takes a while to save and load. Otherwise it's fine.
It's better now I've put entire sections on the same layer rather than one for each room.

Alright, owing to the sheer size of the picture it's zipped. There's a megabyte there, and it's only half the size of the full thing.
The map contains all rooms before the cart ride, including secret item rooms (although not the items themselves).
Here is the link. If anyone can point out which saves are from Very Hard, I'd appreciate it. As it is, saves from Medium only are coloured pink and Hard and Medium are coloured red. Those available in Very Hard will be green. I appreciate that the difference between the pink and red saves isn't that easy to spot.
