Ybbald, I have spent over five minutes searching and cannot find any evidence of any article whatsoever claiming that ketchup has a low taste or anything of the sort. In fact, there is a serious problem with that proposal in that I CAN'T FIND EVIDENCE THAT BABIES HAVE EXTRA TASTE BUDS EITHER.
This seems more like a misunderstanding of a simple guideline here:
A majority of pediatricians will recommend waiting until an infant is 8 months or older to introduce spices. This recommendation often has more to do with staving off digestive upsets than it does with possible allergic reactions.
than anything about taste buds.
So, then, Ybbald. Get some sources or get the fuck out, because nothing I'm reading anywhere says that babies have more taste buds, or that taste buds develop in any strange fashion, or that anything you're saying is true.
