i just beat the guy,and after the credits it just went back to the load screen. it didnt save it or anything,is there anything that can be done about this or do i just gotta beat him again and hope it doesn happen?

when i say not save i mean when it goes back to the saves screen the guys picture doesnt appear on the save

In that case, load the save before The Guy and hold  E N D

You're holding the keys "E", "N", and "D", right?  (I've never had to do this, so I don't actually recall what happens when you do that )

yeah and it just triggers the ending without having to kill the guy but if it helps figer something out it goes back to the saves screen before the credits even finish. it goes to the save screen when the kid gets to the home sign

Change versions (if you have frame-skip, get slomo, vice-versa.)

still not working the credits stop right before the apple falls then it starts back before the guy

go to the divine room of transportation, and if you see the guys head there,... then its not messed up,...
