The Crystal King is the last boss of the current version and you are right, that boss is annoying. I really need to do something about that.

Crystal King is the most luck based boss, and maybe the hardest after silver. I recommend to everyone to use "killer" character if you are having pain with your fingers. And Crystal King can be really annoying on TBWBP, since red health phase is full RNG

I remember I used Mr. R, but I don't really remember why tho. Also, I will take my chances and say both Dark Silver were actually fun fights.

Alright, so after the final save point in the Icy Cave, there's a long chain of very easy rooms with not much in them, and the room directly after the save looks suspiciously like a boss room...are you planning to add more here in the next version? Just asking because if so, I'm gonna leave my save here and wait until the next to continue.

And yeah, you really need to nerf Crystal King. Maybe reduce the number of random falling icicles, or only make them fall in specific places. I think you should also change the attack where he throws the bouncing rocks, you can never tell if they're going to bounce high or just bounce along the ground. Many of my deaths were due to having no idea whether I should jump or just stand still. I also had several occasions where Killer would dash forward and fall into a gap between blocks, rather than jump, when I would try to jump. I'm not sure if I was just standing too close to the edge and the game thought I was in the air already or what..so this one may be my fault, but I'm fairly sure I wasn't super close to any edges.

You are totally right, I wanted to make a boss which chases you through the last rooms of chapter 7.
Anyway, I decided to not make such a boss and didn´t change the rooms.
I might create a boss for these rooms later but I am not sure about that.

Ah alright, guess I'll go ahead and pass these rooms then. I'm sure I'll be replaying this game sometime down the road anyway so if you add anything I'll fight it then. :3

I'm sure he probably is. He's also working on a game for YoSniper's fangame contest at the moment, so it's slowing down development.

I would be lying if I would say that I am working on this game at the moment.
But don´t worry, I really want to finish this game. It would be kinda stupid to cancel this project now that it is nearly finished and now that I already spent very much time on it.
Like always, I cannot give a release date but I can tell you what needs to be done for the final version:
- overall polishing (there is too much luck based stuff and i want to make some things look better)
- last 5 bosses
- chapter 12
- some cutscenes (I always wonder why I want to create cutscenes for an IWBTG fangame)
- dialogue fixing (to be honest, I probably will need help with this since my mother tongue is not english)

Yeah, there kinda is. Not in the levels, I am talking about the bosses because they sometimes give you not beatable attack patterns.
There have been some people who complained about it and they are right.
The Crystal King and Dark Storm (Phase 1) are good examples. I often find myself hating those bosses because of the luck.

I don't think Dark Storm 1 is that bad, I actually had fun with that fight...but as for Crystal King...yeah..needs serious changes.

Now that you mention it Dark Storm on the hardest difficulty is quite annoying. I mean there are ways to go a bit more careful through it (Using Storm at all times to push him back and to give you more time to dodge stuff) but in the end yeah there's definitely some luck-based aspect to it. Changing that would indeed probably be for the better.

Crystal King and dark silver phase 2 are really annoying and RNG on the hardest difficult (TBWBP) but in the normal difficulties they are actually fair.
