Wow, you're good at drawing. (I'm serious, compared to my drawings)
But even if I can't understand German (I'm taking it as an optional subject this and next year, even if I'm regretting it), I can't make anything our of your handwriting. And I'm 100% sure there are some letters in German that are in English and other languages.

I hope that I can get everything done for this year's christmas.

More than six month since the last new.
I hope you're fine SirRouven, I believe you stoped working on I Wanna Be Myself but my heart won't, because I truly want tu see the end of this game, this is the first and the best fan game I ever played.
For more than 3 year im waiting for the 1.0. Since, im seeking a game like that but it's the only one of this kind I have ever found.
SirRouven if you can reply and give us some new, even bad new, i would be grateful because the wait and the lack of information is killing me a little, this game was my favorite game for a long time even if it's not perfect and finished.
 
And I want to thanks you for this truly amazing game you gave to us that was a pleasure to play and replay. I hope to see some new soon if not, farewell and thanks for everything !

It's already been 3 years, now?
I should finally finish this project.

The state of the game hasn't changed since the last few months.
I really want to work on the game but I just cannot find the motivation to do so.
Maybe it is the fact that there are 4 bosses left to create and I never had fun creating bosses.

I guess it would be better to make the game playable (which it isn't right now) and release a 0.95 build.

At least you would get ~3 more chapters to play and ~5 more bosses.

As you can see I regulary check the forums so I still care about the game. It is just motivation that I am lacking.
I will try to get something finished, soon but I cannot promise anything.

I just thought I should give some informations about my progress in the last few weeks.

Chapters 1 to 4 are final now. I tweaked savepoint placement and redesigned some rooms.
Bosses should also be more fun, now.

That is pretty much what I want to do for all chapters before I design the last 4 bosses but I am finally getting somewhere since I actually like the outcome of my work for once.

Difficulty settings will finally matter since some rooms from chapter 3 on change depending on difficulty.
I deleted the third difficulty which means that you can only play on easy, medium or hard.

Easy players get access to autofire, more saves and easier rooms.
Medium players experience the game how it is supposed to be played.
Hard players will hate their decision because they only get 2~4 saves per chapter and bosses are way harder. (more health, harder attacks)

Holding down the jump button in water makes you automatically swim up since many people were aksing for that feature.

Another feature people were asking for is pressing down or shooting while touching a savepoint to save.


There are probably thousand other minor and major things I added/changed but I forgot what had already been in version 0.7 over the last 2 years.
