So, Rag... How far have you gotten? I just started Day 4 myself. :P

Between relearning Grade 12 math, playing Civilization, and my Bio 20 course, I've made absolutely no progress.  I'm still in Osaka (Day 2, if you will).

Also, I appear to be chasing a skirt. :P

As far as the Fate system goes, I think I'll prioritize Daichi, Io and Joe. Also, Joint Cracking is awesome. It really comes in handy when you want to crack multiple skills from a single enemy.

I love some of the choices the game gives you during the dialogue.  XD

'Play it by ear' is still the best one, however. :P

Yeah. It also seems like you can be more of a dick at times, compared to the dialogue choices in the last game.

The 2nd one's been more fun overall thus far; I've been getting into more combat (not including the free battles) than I remember happening in the first game.  I do hope the difficulty doesn't spike like it did in the first game either. >_<

Between relearning Grade 12 math

O:

What's the reason?

Nope, it's actually based off of the male version of Tico (which also seems to remind me of the Laplace Mail of the first game). :P

So far, it doesn't feel like the difficulty has had any sudden spikes for me, though I do think the boss of the third day was a bit of a pain compared to the previous two. From what I hear, the bosses are spread out more evenly in this game, as opposed to the boss rush near the end of the first game. Those bosses really kicked my ass the first time around. Lousy goddamn Bels. >_>

Between relearning Grade 12 math

O:

What's the reason?

I'm taking Calculus at the end of April.  The adviser (who made me take a rather easy math test before deciding I qualified to take the course) suggested I relearn how to graph without a calculator and radicals/factoring/etc.

Nope, it's actually based off of the male version of Tico (which also seems to remind me of the Laplace Mail of the first game). :P

I KNEW I RECOGNIZED IT FROM SOMEWHERE!!

Also, I took the female Tico; her eyes creep me out. ;_;

Also, FUCK YOU JEZEBEL AND YOUR DAMAGE FLOOR!

Fuck Jezebel and fuck Belberith. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't bother using Genma/Avian demons against him my first time through... I had an easier time in Overclocked, but I did go with Yuzu's path first in that version.

I'll probably go with the female Tico after this playthrough.

Was Belberith the final Bel before Babel?  To be fair, Jezebel was the only one who gave me any real difficulty; thanks to her, I ended up over-leveled for the rest of the game. :P

I do agree with you about Gemna/Avians.  Heck, I think Gemna's got an upgrade in DS2.

Yeah. He was a real hassle if you couldn't just warp over to him and had to activate the two switches and slowly make your way around to him. It didn't help that he did significant damage to me back then.

The boss of the fourth day was very fun for me. By the end of that fight, the MC's group was the only one left...

I pissed the weekend away playing Civ 1.  FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Anyway, I'm at Nagoya now.  Had fun killing Merak with my level 15-16 characters.  Also, the Laser Beam of Death is lolzy. :P

Say, how are you leveling the MC?

At first, I was putting two points into Magic then one into Agility, and then repeat and throw one point into Vitality. I did change things up a bit whenever I needed to for skills I wanted (my Strength is currently at 9, if I remember correctly). Lately though, I've been focusing more on just Magic and a bit of Agility every now and then, since I was getting shown up by a character who was practically a Magic Nuke.

The boss on Thursday was much easier than the previous two for me, though that might be because I was focusing more on Magic at that point. Also, I love the dialogue choices in this game more than the previous one. I really do.

Oh, are you focusing on anyone in particular for the Fate system? So far, I've been mainly focusing on Daichi, Io, Joe, Jungo and Otome, and a bit with Airi, Ronaldo and the Anguished One as well.
