Nicalis (The Publisher's of La Mulana Wii) posted on Twitter that La Mulana wii was canceled. Their reason for La Mulana Wii's cancellation is the developers NIGORO never finished the game. In fact they are flat out blaming NIGORO for the whole thing.

However La Mulana was released in Japan and is the Top Selling game on Wiiware in Japan, and I also have a perfectly working copy of the game. Clearly the game is done. They they switched to some Marketing thing and now they are just flat out ignoring questions about the cancellation and trying to advertise Cave Story, the game they have 30 clones of.

Recently NIGORO heard about this and posted that they are going to talk about it with Nicalis in private. In other words NIGORO didn't know about the cancellation until 4 or 5 hours after it was made public and they only knew about it through the public statement not through Nicalis first. I don't know about you guys but I find it kinda rude of a publisher not to tell the developers that they are cancelling publication of their game. Maybe that's just me.

Anyway there is my rant for the week.

Well, either they're gonna make it for the Wii-U, or just drop it all together and nicalis blaming NIGORO forever

So they made that shit Cave Story Wii and now they are just deciding not to release La-Mulana. I really hope this is a late april fools joke, Doubt it tho D:

Nicalis dropped it, but EnjoyUp Games has decided to pick it up and release it for Wiiware on September 20th.

La-Mulana is coming to the Wii in English finally! Rejoice!
