I Wanna Be The Lost Levels Beta version 1.0.0.3

This is the latest version of my game I Wanna Be The Lost Levels Beta 1.0.0.3
I've updated a few things from the last version:

1. Finished the Left Path (It's no longer blocked off and you can actually play on it)
2. Made a new boss! (There are now 4!)

Unfortunately, there is only one save file. Since I am a dumb, I don't know how to make multiple save files without the game fucking out. If anyone knows how to do this, please tell me.



NOTE: Some rooms are over 5 screens and MAY lag. I [think I] have made it so that the amount of blood depends on how fast your computer is running (So if it is running slowly, there will be less blood). This may help the game not lag as much.

So far This game has:

4 Bosses
Secret Items (That Save!)
3 complete paths
A Pause Button (P) - I know, this is expected

I made this game in Game Maker using tijit's engine. Anything not in the engine I made/programmed myself.

When I run it I get

Sound does not exist.
I have to keep pressing ignore.
Also when I press "R"

And the game ends.

The menu is confusing to use. It's hard to read the save select text. The game is just remade IWBTG levels with bits missing and loads of hidden invisible blocks and cherry spam. The gun and physics are very good. However that is basically all I can really say about the game since I have frequent error messages and can't continue after I die.

The game works fine for me.

Are you sure you haven't changed the names of any of the songs? The game uses external musoic loading.

To start a new game, you enter one of the top rooms, based on the difficulty you want.

Well try and download your game from the link.
Then extract it to a new folder and run it.
Does it still work for you then?

Good Level design

This room doesn't exactly shout "good level design" at me.



Having to do the exact same, close jump to trigger the spikes 6 times in a row without saving is tedious, so I stopped on the upper route at this point.

Other than that you just copied a lot of rooms/tiles from the original IWBTG and replaced obstacles with invisible blocks (upper and mid route).

The lower route that contains the section with the kid moving faster or slower was the most original one in the game. However, I encountered a bug that causes the kid to keep going left whenever i respawn at the savepoint, so I can't play this game any further.

This is my first time making a fangame.
That was the first room I made. I'm sorry  parts of it seem to be randomly laid out. I will work on making it more appealing.

as for the 6 spikes.

I guess this part is a little tedious. But there is a specific timing pattern that you have to get down. After that, it's not that hard.
 as for your error about moving left:

Have you tried moving as soon as you start? None of this has ever happened to me. However I will look into these errors.

I downloaded it, and it works fine.
I don't know why you can't play it.

Well, this has been quite an experience.



I will admit, there is a bit of tediousness.
But IWBTG had it too in places.

I'm sorry people are having errors, glitches, so forth.

This game is still pretty young. I'll keep on ironing out some of the bugs.

Shadow Kid boss is bugged if you press right or something at the beginning he will face the opposite direction making it an easy boss not that it's hard as it is now overall game is fun I'm at the warping blocks
