Gaiden ACT2. new gimmick?

When you go through ACT1 you have this bionic commando vibe and level design going on, so it's only natural to have the bionic arm. I'm not saying I don't like the bionic arm, but I don't love it either. What I'm wondering is, will ACT2 get rid of the bionic arm and replace it with something else? The key binding in the options does say "shoot 2".

Also sorry if this has already been discussed, I'll delete this post if there is already another one.

The bionic arm is absolutely not going to be replaced. There might be more that it can do, but it's staying the course. I picked it because I thought it was a mechanic that has mileage and after Act 1 I don't think I've used it in even half the ways I wanted to.

At first I didn't like the BIONIC ARM! *X Factor* BIONIC ARM! but it grew on me. I really like it, partly because of all the speed run strats but also because of the interesting ways you can move through the levels.

I'm sure the bionic arm allows Kayin to think of new and exciting ways to kill The Lad. It also makes boss battles slightly trickier, as in the case of the boxer guy (forgot his name), took me a while to figure out to grabslam his face after he's done his basic move set.
