I know it's not out yet, but what do you guys think about Windows 8. Do you want it? I personally don't know if I do or not...

I had XP till a while back. Honestly upgrading doens't bother me at all. XP is pro-tier.

Had Windows 95. Worked great until hardware couldn't handle newer stuff. Got Windows XP Pro. Still works great. Now I also have Windows 7. Works great also.

But when I look at Windows 8... I think of Windows Vista. It has so many issues.

I don't know about you all, but I'm not really a big fan of tablets. And now that it appears windows is trying to be like one, it's kind of pissing me off. But I might try it, just to see what it's like...

I'm quite happy with 7. Soon enough though, every computer's gonna come with 8 and We'll be forced to get it. But for now, I'm sticking with 7.

I'm not looking forward to it, mainly due to my current job. I'm not sure whether or not by October we'll just be adding repairs for Windows 8 or if we'll be replacing Windows XP support with Windows 8 and say we can't work on XP machines anymore. This is going to be a fun autumn. -_-'

All the computers at my highschool have XP. I'd be shocked if they all get upgraded to 8 anytime soon...
Mostly why I don't wanna get it is because, like みにわ つみき said, there's gonna be even more issues with compatability. There's already enough of that with 7

You missed out stuff like Windows 2000 (it's not the same as ME).

Anyway, I'm not planning on upgrading to Windows 8 any time soon.

Yea, I know. I didn't make the image and I didn't want to make a new one. It missed Windows NT as well.
