There really isn't much in the game so far, yet it seems pretty promising.
It's well-made and is semi-visually pleasing, though the moving stuff gets annoying.
I'd suggest putting some screenshots in the first post if you want people to play it.

Screenshots? You got it! Screenshots coming right up! :)
The moving stuff is supposed to make it look very... 'full of life' basically. There won't be that many moving objects in the future, but there will be smoke and lots of other cool stuff. But enough for now. Thank you for the comment :)

This game is actually pretty good, it's like you actually care about making a fangame.  ;D Please continue working on this.

Sorry for keeping this fangame on fold for a long time. I will keep working on it starting from June sometime. Right now I'm having hard times, I'm not going to explain a lot, but yeah.
By the end of the next mass-production the first world should be mostly created, and who knows, maybe even a boss! Oh boy, making bosses is going to be fun... I'm so not looking forward to it, because they're probably going to suck, but who knows! I'll try my best! Or at least try to try my best!

Summary: I'll start working on this game again from June and won't finish before world 1 (+ boss?) is done. :)

Making a boss for the first time can be a little daunting, I made my first boss when I started working on a fangame myself. I did post a simple example a few weeks ago if you're interested. It doesn't seem like much, but it's the basic principle that I use to make boss fights.

I guess my advice would be, don't over think it, keep it simple and just go for it. :3

Well there isn't much of a game yet, but the graphics look pretty appealing so far.

There are quite a few games lately that copy the effects from I wanna kill The Guy aren't there? Not complaining, they're good effects after all, but a bit originality in that regard would be nice. Still better than the stock IWBTG saves I suppose.

As for the level design, that Tutorial level seemed a bit like trigger-overkill if you ask me. How many of those vines in the third screen fell one after another? You shouldn't rely on non-stop triggers of random stuff. Have some enemies or difficult jumps every once in a while to mix it up.

Yes, indeed, I had the same thought that maybe I did a little overkill...
BUT at the same time, if some random people (for some reason?) happen to play that game, then not getting past the tutorial level would mean "Just give up on playing this game already". I basically wanted to make a tutorial level that is easy for us, and it shows the medium difficulty of the game. I won't make any more of those kind of rapid-triggers though. I will try to come up with as many different ways of dying as I can; I won't make it a mass-memory game where if you don't remember all the triggers, then go die, so no worries on that side.
Anyway, I guess we'll see. Different people have different ideas. You can share ideas too, if you want to.

You can skip a small part of the Bullet Bill section.

Other than that there's not much to say about the new update, except world 2 looks a lot like way too many triggers again (And that save trigger was just unnecessary, at least let the player save at the start of the new world instead of forcing him to go through the map screen 3 times, that doesn't add challenge it's just a waste of time.)

The new castle section looks sweet though.

I like it, I think the trap ideas are pretty good.

Alright, I'll fix that problem!
I'll move the portal more to the left and put a few obstacles in between, that'll fix it I hope!
.....An IWBT game is supposed to have a lot of triggers! So far, yes, I have added quite a few, but if you know what you're doing, you barely have to put any effort into trying to avoid the triggers. Your point is invalid, i.m.o.

Sorry, I want to give this game a try, but I seem to keep on getting this message when trying to open the game:

Well-placed ones, yes. The original IWBTG would've been only half as fun without them, but you gotta know how to surprise people. 5 Falling vines in a row or the first save-point in the new world without you having accomplished anything yet isn't surprising, it's just a waste of time. Try to put yourself into the players perspective and pull of traps that no one would expect and dare I say, even make them laugh?

I guess I am a bit too nitpicky. It's your game after all and you can do whatever you want with it, but it'd be a shame if you ruined it with simple things like that.

@ForestFalcon I have no idea what the problem could be... It runs fine for everyone else :/

@MetaKK This is my first game, after all. And as I said, I'll try to give my best! When I get to the later worlds, I'm more aware of all the possible varieties of what I can do in GameMaker, so then I can come back to the earlier worlds and make it better. So calm down, everything will be fine (:
