They were level 29 and 32.

I was usually between 19-23 (I hate Misty's Starmie so much! >_<)  Thankfully having a bike and a Pokemon Center nearby made training a little easier. XD

Pokemon Blue: I actually beat brock on my first try :) Then got owned by a LV32 Dugtrio. Ouch......

All you need was either Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or a Nidoran, and problem solved. ;D  I normally use a Nidoran for Brock.

I could beat him at level 12 when I had Blue. XD

Now I use level 18 Pokemon against him.
