You need at least 2 jump keys in order to do one.

To jump cancel, all you need to do is press one jump key for an unspecified amount of time. Then, press the second one. Release the first and second keys consecutively and as fast as you can in order to perform as low a jump possible with two jump keys.

Thanks i was just wondering what it was ill probably never figure out how to do it but ill try
also im guessing you tend to use this in needle games because when i saw you do an inverted spike jump it looked like your second jump was hitting the upper spike as if it was a cieling

Yes. I use jump cancel all the time. It makes certain jumps much easier for me, although I tend to abuse it on jumps that would be even easier without it.
