Classic "I wanna be the Guy" with MultiplayerVer0.1.0
« on: October 24, 2014, 11:52:09 am »

I decided that if the game will play other people will be more fun!
Just added a chat, that we could agree on what or with another person!
You can easily download the game on the link, enter your username and play, people will see you, and you will see people, so you will see the player's nickname in the vicinity!
If you see any bug must write here!
It bad: According to the random error I did not manage to get a non-working chat with menu where you need to write a nickname, sorry.
Download IWBTGwithMultiplayer https://www.mediafire.com/?4dzv3yw643jd516
Enjoy! Good luck and good to play together!

Is it just me or are the physics in this version completely different? I haven't played the original IWBTG in a long while but I don't remember the gravity being so heavy, it just feels really off to me somehow. I also cannot seem to get past the cloud screen, he refuses to double jump from the second cloud.

After 30 minutes playing this game I found:
- the double jump doesn't work on the clouds because of small jumps when the cloud is falling down. It's quite impossible to get to the next cloud;
- the physics and gravity are different from the original IWBTG. So, the places what I can compete easy now much harder;
- on the path to warp room, the middle platforms don't work. You jump on them and falling down on the spike;
- another fire-generation on Dr.Wily;
- the Bowser's bomb explodes too quickly;
- sliding on the platforms. I think it's unnecessary for IWBTG;
- about platforms: in original IWBTG when you go in the platform, you can stand on it. Now, you are falling through it;
- strange bug, when you escape from Metroid: when you go up on the blue platforms, you can be teleported in another place;
- the kid freezes, when he touches the red orb.

The positive things I found are:
- the crashes on The Guy Industries location were fixed;
- you can play in fullscreen.

So, because of middle platforms on the way to warp room and clouds it is impossible to complete this game.

This is all due to the 60 frames per second, used to be 50, I redid 60.

Put it back to 50 fps and see if that clears up. There's no reason to force 60 unless it works.
