Hardest Challanges You've Done in Video Games
« on: December 29, 2014, 02:43:53 pm »

Well, I'm not sure if this is general worthy but I just wanted rather more serious answers. Anyway, the question is easy; What is the hardest challange/thing you've done in videogames? It doesn't have to be challange, you might also post %100 completion or something (Which I still believe doing everything possible is also a challange but I don't care for terms at all, really.) So post anything you think the hardest. Mine would be like;

Dark Souls 1 Level 1 challange run which is you basically choose the pyromancer (Only character in the game that starts level 1) and never level up. Dark Souls 1 SL1 challange run is way easier than DS2 SL1 run because pyromancy doesn't scale with your stats in the first one.

Super Meat Boy %106. Well, Cotton Alley and Rapture Dark World bandages were a bitch, but it was rather more time consuming than difficult.

Ocarina Of Time 3 heart run. Ugh, this was the most annoying one since the game gets gradually hard when you become an adult and it's not easy to avoid all damage in Oot and enemies - especially bosses hit really hard. I should've never attempted this though due to the fact that I'm not a skilled player in zelda games and I've done this literally just after the first time I've completed the game.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - Very Hard mode beaten. What can I say about this one? Ninja Gaiden Sigma is basically Nînja Gaiden Black on PS3 with lighter graphics, literally everything else is same. This game is known for being one of the most difficult RPG games of all time even in normal mode. Imagine what it would feel like suffering this in very hard mode. Even reaching the very hard requires you to beat the game on hard. It's not like "lol im the best ive beat one of the hardst games in veru hard"It took me 3 months and over one hundred deaths.
And prize you get for doing this? Master Ninja difficulty which I believe requires real ninja skills to complete and a really cool fire costume for Ryu. That's all about it.

Christopher Robin beaten in Pooh's Home Run Derby.

100% Isaac Rebirth without any of the common exploits.

100% King of Fighters 2002UM without any pity unlocks.

100% Pokemon Stadium 2 R2 rentals only.

Many others, but these are the ones that stand out the most in my mind. Not listing stuff like 3-heart runs and such because I've done a lot of them and they aren't too notable.

Even raocow did that, don't be
embarrassed.

As for myself, I don't really do a lot of challenge runs. I did 3 hearts in Oracle of Ages and 4 hearts in a linked Oracle of Seasons (both on Youtube), plus several Monotype runs in Pokemon (currently Monotype Flying in Y), and I'm currently trying to 100% speedrun Majora's Mask - not going for a WR, just a personal best. I'm currently not good enough to get Cycle 1 Epona.

Pikmin 2 with no Pikmin lost.  Man-at-legs was extremely hard to beat while doing this.

You too? I've always had trouble with the third encounter with Empress bulblax and any of those sublevels with the Gatling Groink. Man-at-legs was easy once I figured out an easy way to avoid his attack.

Punching a deathclaw to death with boxing tape

Oh, oh, there was also that time I beat SMT 3 on hard mode (true demon ending) with Dante in the party...it was not a good idea to bring him along, surprisingly.

Oh right, and then there was unlocking the Lost.

What, shooting it a bunch and then switching to the tape? That's the boring way.
