What fangame to play first

I just beat IWBTG, like, 2 hours ago. What fangame should I play first?  :kid:

I guess the first legacy of waves in the Fangame making.

I'd suggest the following + in the "worth giving a go" thread a try.

I wanna be the Fangame

I wanna be the Tribute

I wanna be the Ultimatum

I wanna be the Retro (1)

I wanna be the GB

I wanna Kill the Guy (overrated, but its ok I guess)

These are old, and easy to beat. So I kinda lost my track of time. If it is a challenge you're looking for, then I'd play any of the needle games in the section, such as the Kamilia series or any yuuutu engine-based needle.

Now, if it's REAL quality gaming you're looking for with enhanced graphics/mechanics, play the Hereditary Baldness games.

I HIGHLY recommend I wanna kill the guy. IWBTRockman and IWBTComputer too.
If you look for difficulty you should check I Wanna Be The GB.

It's all up for opinion and your skill level only, Poster i really wouldn't play GB unless you want to rape your hand with constant button mashing. I honestly think Kamilia 2 is a good way to go because it starts out piss easy and becomes ball busting towards the end, if you get stuck, play something else.

As the others said, I Wanna Kill the Guy is pretty fun. Boshy if you're up for a ragefest. I Wanna be Myself if you wanna go for a few more gimmicks. I Wanna be like Brisulph is my personal favorite (but be warned: it strays a lot from the general fangame formula of jumping through spikes and ... nothing else.)

I can agree with most suggestions in this list, especially I Wanna be Myself. It's an amazing fangame with a lot of stuff that sets it apart from most others, and the difficulty curve is fairly balanced so it's easy to get into. I can add to the list:

I Wanna Defeat the Pixel

I Wanna go the Parallel World

I Wanna Rescue the World 2

I Wanna be the Chair

If you're up for a very long and difficult one, I Dun Wanna Be Anything is worth a shot.

I really disliked Boshy; it just tried way too hard to be difficult and it just wasn't fun for me. There are so many other better fangames imo.

Boshy was cool. I don't know why there are so many people that dislike or even hate Boshy. For me, is one of the best fangames I have ever played. Sure, it will make you rage to death, but it's still fun for me :)
But I actually got extremely bored with IWBTFangame. I never passed the beggining because it was full of stupid and many times predictable traps and I got bored.
I wanna kill the guy is quite good. Its not that hard, so if I were you, I would play it first.

I have no idea what happened but everybody started to hate it all of a sudden. I still think it's a great fangame but a very overrated one.

I actually think Boshy is total garbage as do a lot of people it seems. I agree completely that it's odd that Boshy was once the undisputed best game but now a majority seem to hate it. I think it's just that at the time its level of production value and, for lack of a better word, originality were unprecedented. The reality pretty quickly set in but it had a nice run.


Anyway if you're new I'd experiment with some needle games to see if you dig them. Here are a few recs from me of varying difficulties:
