I just beat The Guy a couple of minutes ago, and when the credits ended, I was brought back to the menu, and like nothing had ever happened, my save was still right outside The Guy's door.

Isn't there supposed to be a boss rush?

Does his face show up on your file? If not, try beating the game again on the frame-skip version. To make things easier for you...

Press the E, N and D keys at the same time in the final area and you'll skip right to the credits.

No way, thanks, but I don't want to download another whooping game file. My computer's crying as is. That's my last resort.

Could it maybe be because I never downloaded the Ending File?

Try that and see if that helps. If not, upload your save by clicking on Additional Options... while making/editing a post and I'll make sure the game registers the Guy being beaten for you.

I played through this game on my mac using wine, but when i beat it it always freezes. The guy is about as much as a lie for me as the cake is.
