So there's a composition made by fairuzons on YouTube for Brave Earth.

I just realized there was a large argument over Naomi's armor about a year ago and I found it by googling something unrelated. I laughed pretty hard, especially since people apparently have been reading stuff from my wiki.

So to belatedly reply, that I am doing mostly for fun.

1) No Naomi will not get redesigned. If you want a chick who shows no skin, theres already one in the game as a character.

2) As for armor, yes, Naomi does not wear fullplate for a reason and being a high mobility fighter is one. Primarily this is on the leg region for flexibility and mobility.

3) as for boob armor, who cares? Theres cuirasses that are molded to look like ripped manly chests that were worn. It's an ornamentation.

4) The midriff chain amor is silly! I love it! -- But from a 'vague excuse' standpoint, a lot of motion and potential energy comes from the the lower torso so movement in that region can be very useful. The chainmail is probably some sort of enhanced, enchanted, expensive shit to make up for it.

5) yes theres a lot of magic in the setting, though her armor isn't magical (besides a minor illusion on the heels which ARE lifts sitll by the way).

Want an update? Theres nothing. Besides design work, I have nothing that Ic ould show besides a basic fighting engine with moves. I'm not longer actively working on it. This isn't an IWSTK situation where I'm like "Man, this is dead, sorry guys". The situation is just not right yet. I'm working on stuff like animation and stuff occasionally though.

The problem is that this game is going to take too much effort to put in a limited platform. Construct is going into 2.0 ..... EVENTUALLY. Thing there is it can eventually support OpenGL support or basically it can be exported anywhere if someone puts the time into setting it up. Construct 1 is a limited platform, though the quality is high. So I have two options.

Wait for Construct 2: Going to take awhile

Learn Unity: .......... also going to take awhile. Also the engine does NOT go out of it's way to help 2d games, so it seems like the wrong platform for me, even though the engine is powerful and flexible.

I'm working on a few other projects that are farther along so hopefully I'll have something to show eventually (By the end of the year maybe?! -- though not a release, just maybe videos of a screenshot or two). This is good news for IWBTG fans! But to basically put it, Brave Earth is in developmental haitus I guess. I'm still actively working on it in notes and graphics and stuff, but I can't actually work on the GAME until the situation allows me to do so and not feel like I'm throwing away a ton of effort.
