Looking for help on new fangame.

First of all, I dunno if this even belongs here, if it doesn't belong here, then please move it, and remove this message.

So, hello everyone! I am currently making another game, kinda like Kamilia 3 and Happil 2.
It is going very good so far, and there is a preview on my channel (not much is shown, and some stuff was changed since I made that preview.) RebornIsaac, the game will be called I Wanna Kill The Gecko, and I will release first version after I complete Chapter 1, Boss 1 and others.
However, I still haven't decided which music I will use on Ch. 1, and I also don't know how to make the music not to restart when you press R (Yes, already deleted the "game_restart" stuff.), so if anybody could help me, it would be great.

The kind of music I'm looking for is like the soundtrack from Dodonpachi Saidaioujou (used in Kamilia 3 already), so if anybody could help me on finding a track that sounds like Dodonpachi Maximum (Saidaioujou) and I like it, it will be featured in my game and I will thank them on the credits n' stuff.
Engine I'm using is IWBTEngine V2, using Game Maker 8.1 Standard, for the ones that wanna help on the coding. I will also feature them on credits.

But in all seriousness...goddamn, finding music similar to that is difficult; I guess I'd recommend the following:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8R9GKvwz8w  //based off the first screen shown in your video, this does have a somewhat fitting mood

This is what I can offer at the moment for music itself.

I'll take a look at the engine to see what I can do when it comes to making the music not restart.

p.s. this might belong in Game Design, if any mod would do the honors.

First song: Really awesome. Will use on Ch. 1, thanks a lot!
Second song: Probably use it on something... You'll see!
Third song: Fast paced, probably will use on a screen you have to go really quick.
Fourth song: Pretty known song, probably won't use it...

Pretty basic, also I took some stuff from Yutuu's engine, like signs, ladders, timers and secret objects.

No problem; and I just looked into it, and the solution for non-restarting music should be exactly like that of yuuutu:

Make sure you deleted the lines of code in the script killPlayer() (which I think you already did) and also make sure you remove the line sound_stop_all(); from the press R event in the object world. Then add the following code in the creation code of the object playMusic:
