TIL the people of Kaplan don't know how to edit their products.

So, I was doing some ACT preparation, mostly focusing on the math portion because, despite it being my best subject and it always being my best subject, I can never seem to finish the math section of any test similar to this. I came to a section of trigonometric functions, which I feel I know well enough, and on one page I find:

The ration of the lengths of the sides of a right triangle is 2 : sqrt(5) : 3. What is the cosine of the smallest angle in the triangle?

to which I answered with sqrt(5)/3; the explanation of the problem says:

The cosine of any angle equals the length of the hypotenuse/adjacent.

...That's the secant of any angle; nevertheless, despite this mistake, they still said the same answer as I said.

...But wait, it gets worse! The next question on the same page says:

In right triangle ABC, sin i = 3/5 and cos i < 0. What is the value of csc i?

Now, first of all, there's one thing the people of Kaplan missed about the question itself: you can't have a negative length for the side of a triangle. Ignoring this mistake, I find -5/3...and that isn't an answer choice; 5/3 was, so I chose that. Now, the explanation of the problem says:

Cosecant is hypotenuse/adjacent, or in this case -5/4.

...what the fuck? First of all, that's, once again, secant, and second of all, that also isn't the answer to what the question asked, which, with the way it was worded, actually had no correct answer given.

What baffles me even more about this is that they actually got it correct in the introduction to this concept on the previous page, which I only noticed after looking back to make sure they had it correct there, and sure enough they did. You want to know what I think of this?
