The troublemaking kobolds in question are drunk as skunks. Most of them wouldn't be half as rowdy if it weren't for the alcohol.
SO: This is a group RPG that's using a fairly modified version of D&D 3.0 rules to cover combat scenarios (so none of the massive shenaniganry that I was trying to pull under The Elsa Alliance).
For the most part, if it's under the core rules section of the d20 SRD for 3.5 I'll let you try it. 5.0 backports will be on a per-instance basis, though if there's a 3.5 solution try that first.
I want this to be character oriented, so try to avoid obvious mechanical cheese (such as this).
Start your characters at level 2 - no magic weapons to start, but you're fully equipped to go adventuring already (and you've just turned in a bounty).
I don't have anything concrete planned for this, it's just "go until participation wanes"
Also: please try not to kill the enemies in this first encounter, they're just a bunch of rowdy drunks.
One thing I forgot: Everyone gets Draconic as a free language due to the prevalence of Kobolds in this city.

Ill asked before I get screwed, can I self-insert or is that evil and forbidden (Also can i use 3.5e for the same site that dragonic used?)
Edit: are you strict on aligments for classes and such? im new to this so i dont know how important some things are here

As long as you do non-combat stuff like you would in real life, I have no problem with you character being a self-insert.

You should be able to use the same site; it's not one I've used in the past however so I can't answer with precision.

I haven't decided on how strictly I'll adhere to the alignment rules but in general if you're good play selfless and if you're evil play selfish and you'll be fine.

If you're a Paladin expect the usual morton's fork of "Is it better to be lawful or good?"

Alright, I have no idea if I completed some stuff correctly. I began to research what I needed to and found that it wasn't as hard as I thought, but due to there being so much I'm paranoid I missed something.
Anyway, if I did screw up, go crazy on me or tell me if I need to fix anything.

I think I didn't do what I had to do for skills, if anything.

We can pretty much start from this. I'll put together the barfight map on Saturday and we can officially kick this off then.
Further players can jump in while we're in the city proper.

Fatih: you get bonus languages because of your int modifier, the only one you're not actually allowed to take is Druidic since you're not a druid, but since you're a Good character if you take an Evil language you'd better have a good reason for it.

Alright, barfight map is go. The kobolds are in varying states of injury and unarmedness. The half-orc bartender has cleric levels but is fighting unarmed at the moment because reasons.

If dropbox wasn't ending support for the Public folder soon this would be marginally easier.

He shook his head at the situation. He came to the bar in hopes of finding new companions, never to fight a bunch of drunken morons. In fact, he had no reason to fight the pitiable things - all he drank was water, which pretty much seemed free.
He sighed, however, because he knew simply leaving would tarnish his looks, and he wasn't one to turn down requests.
That is, he never took any that involved fighting others.
He prepared to fight, in hopes that the kobolds would leave once they saw that their butts would be handed to them. If they had any. He was new to these.

He wasn't focusing on how much he wanted to be a pacifist, though, because the bard was playing an empowering song.
