Or whatever that thingy that emulates Windows on a Mac is called.

Sure why not? Remake the ENTIRE game in a different structure just so you can play it natively on a Mac

...

Just use an emulator or something. And I'm being kind enough.

Just use WINE to play it. I can't help you more than that.

Isn't WINE for Linux? Macs use bootcamp to emulate Windows.

I believe WINE works for both.

But I could be wrong.

When in doubt, Google.

Yeah, it does. I've just never heard of anyone using WINE on a Mac.

Bootcamp isn't windows emulation. It's native windows. Wine on the other hand is emulation.

would some Mac user PLEASE use wine so I can confirm it works for the mac version of WINE?

No.  I won't try because working on a Mac is *$%&ing impossible by design.

Gamers don't care about Mac, and only the uberdork gamers care about linux.  No games is the price you pay for never rebooting or cleaning registries or defragmenting or ad-awaring or letting Norton Gestappo run your life.

Apple made it incredibly difficult to do anything GNU on a Mac so don't fall into the "linux does it so mac must do it" trap.
However, there is apparently a OSX build of Wine.

For the record, WINE is an acronymn for "WINE is not emulation".  It uses a *nix process for the NT kernel, and separate files that mimic the function of DLL's.

Wrong. Stands for Wine is not an emulator.
