Okay, I've gotta break down.  I've beaten everything but this, it's my last boss, and I'm agitated.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what exactly should I be doing the third phase of Clown Copter?  I dodge those stupid balls like nothing else, I think I've gotten through 5 of them, and I don't have any idea what I should be doing.


Edit: Never mind.  I figured it out.  I was certainly wasting a lot of time and effort.  And I know it's been covered already, but those balls can be obnoxious to jump over.

You have to shoot at the big ball to have it ricochet at Wily.  You can probably kill him in two balls if you're fast enough.

You can kill Wily with the very first bowling ball.

It may someday be useful to figure out the nuber of hits each boss takes per phase.

Well, there's a little hop to backtrack to the last save room, so I was thrown off by it at first.  If you just run to the left you can't get back, you have to hop like there's a little ledge there.  Threw me off at first.  But as far as a save after the ceiling of death...   I had to do that stupid room so many times, I can only IMAGINE what it would've been like had I needed to fight Clown Copter every time.

I don't have to imagine; I completed that boss twenty times and proceeded to get my rear kicked by the next room every single time. I really wish I knew you had to jump for the previous save beforehand.

I don't own a turbo controller.  What you do is shoot the ball, jump, and then start shooting the ball again.

I finally got him Turns out you just need a running start to jump over the ball

The kid jumps just as high if you are moving or standing still.  Moving while doing the jump does make it... ea..si..er...

Well if you're running you're more likely to clear the most amount of horiztonal distance.
