What the heck

Hey guys,

I beat Kraidgief, and happened to just hang out in the silver room after him for a while.  In 30 seconds or so, one the the Zoomers from Metroid comes climbing along, so I freeze him and use him as a platform to go up.  If I go to the left, it glitches and shows Mother Brain, then leaves me in a dark room with no escape.  If I go to the right I can run along the ceiling for a couple frames then I jump and land in a (mostly) empty black room.  What's the secret for getting past this?  I've tried pretty much everything, and the Game Over room's the only dead end, right?  Am I just missing something obvious?

Hehe, that's a glitch. You can run along the top to bowser though.
