I tried getting on the forums yesterday, and it said that SMF wasn't connecting or something.  It appears to be fixed now, but will it happen again?  Is it my computer?  Can someone tell me what's going on, because I don't want the forums completely gone.  I'm posting this in Crap because I don't know if this is just minor.

It was really weird. I finally managed to connect, after several "smf cannot connect..." messages, but it said something about an error in chats, and wouldn't let me go ANYWHERE without reconnecting to the same error page. Any idea what happened?

kayin, or cat probably tried installing a chat function on the site, but it screwed up the code.

that's my best guess.
