Well do I have to do that form business again? because I got sick and tired of signing up muiltiple times....also you already have all the infomation before...
Do you want infomation in comments or videos?
If video do you want it public or private?
Also do you actually need a very ACTIVE beta tester because not everyone has free time i.e. Me
and are you simply gonna remove previous members of beta tester for various reasons from switched forum, email problems, got removed from the team because I WAS HAVING A HOLIDAY blah blah blah....
As far as participation from a beta tester, here.... copied from the Fangame Forums:
"
Unless you provide feedback, even if you don't find problems, then you are no good to the project. I understand we all have our own lives and can't babysit this project all the time. However, as a beta tester, you agreed to be helpful and if several releases go by without any feedback from you, I'll assume you've lost interest and will kick you from the team (probably permanently). If you are planning a vacation or trip and won't be able to test temporarily (starting school or a job or anything else that will take you away from the project for more than a couple of weeks is going to be too long, and your says as a beta tester will need to end), it would be courteous of you to let me know so I don't think you've abandoned the project."
Honestly I've spent plenty of time trying to think of solid "rules and guidelines" for how much participation and activity is enough for a beta tester, and honestly I can't say there's any real fair way of doing it. That being said, it's going to be left up to me making the judgments. If I feel like you've abandoned the project then I have the right to remove you from the beta team. If you're somehow offended or hurt by this, well then I suppose that's just an unfortunate consequence. WANTING to help and actually being helpful are not one in the same.
Also keep in mind that being on the beta team is not meant to be a social status thing. It doesn't make you extra special or cool. The sole purpose of the beta team is for the improvement of Fangame. If you are unable to fulfill that purpose, whether or not your reasons are valid, then there is simply no reason for you to be on the team. Am I wrong?
On another note... If you're sick and tired of signing up "multiple times", nobody is going to beg you to sign up again. It's your choice. Though, I don't know how many times you're trying to imply you've had to sign up. I had one original forum hosted on another site. I then created a new forum on my OWN site so I would have full control over it. This required people to sign up at the new forum site because it wasn't the same server. Then, recently, the problem with the spam bots resulted in the very unfortunate side effect of losing some accounts. It's not a big deal, though. No important information was lost, and it only takes a few moments to re-register. Like I said, though, it is your choice and nobody is going to beg you. Your options are exactly what they are: options. I do welcome anybody to apply to be a beta tester, but it's up to them to decide whether or not it fits their lifestyle and schedule.
