It's an IPS file. Find an IPS patcher and patch the rom.

I played this once a bit. I tend not to like the SMW hacks that just try to push the difficulty to insanity. That's been done 1 million times with that game. I like the SMW hacks that have creative level design or try to make you do different things you wouldn't normally expect to be doing on that game engine.

The SMW Odyssey beta was pretty awesome, and Super Demo World: The Legend Continues was pretty good, although that was done by the creator of Lunar Magic (the ROM editor), FuSoYa, so you'd almost expect that. Those are 2 of my favs, anyway.

If you just want some hardcore ass kicking (where your ass is the one being kicked... and since this is a board of 8-bit masochists, we should expect this, right? ;0 ), then this hack's pretty good for that. Try beating it without savestates.  ;D

EDIT: SMWCentral is the place to go for MOST (not all, especially not Japanese) English SMW hacks.
