I'm going to need to figure out how to address screen tearing in fullscreen mode.  I know it's cause framerate doesn't match vsync, but I have seen games deal with this.

Use double buffering.

I'm also considering writing a game in C++. How are you handling graphics? I heard SDL is good, but I want some more input.

I used SDL for Pickory.

I'm using SFML...  though I've wondered about going over to SDL...  SFML makes things pretty convenient and it has OpenGL ready for me.

Double reply, but just letting you know I updated it again.  What should hopefully be fixed:
-Coded everything again from scratch (well, salvaged what I could)
-Yet again, brand new time regulator
-Dragging the window won't make it go fast
-In-game FPS should be accurate
-Title screen should be regulated speed too

What I'm looking for:
-Reports on CPU use
-FPS and speed reports

CPU use 5 - 7%  and FPS 60

Updated it again.  It's getting there!

What's new:
-Hopefully smoother rendering
-F12 will toggle fullscreen/windowed
-Esc now pauses the game rather than going to the title
-Prelim level data from external file

Any reports on performance appreciated, thanks.
