Post-hidden room hidden room

I feel terrible for coming here to ask, but I don't want to spend days on this like I did with the Home room, so all I want to know is: Is this another dead end?

Er... What should I clarify? There doesn't seem to be anything I can do to progress, so I'm just wondering whether this is a dead end room or not.

Well, I'm not done with the game yet, so if you are and haven't seen it that confuses me.

I've completed Bowser, Mike Tyson, and Mecha Birdo in that order.

For how I got to the screen in my first post,

From this room, instead of falling to where Mecha Birdo was:



I went through and got the thing that looks like a gun handle in the top right (though I haven't noticed any difference in my shots.)

Then from the elevated square where it was, I double jumped over the wall to the upper right, which seemed natural as it was similar to the way I got to this room in the first place.

Then, moving right, I would fall off of that wall, and I would fall through several scrolling black screens until my character disappeared (no game over screen.) But if I held left to hug the wall, then fully double jumped to the left once the wall ended, I would land on the wall seen in the first post.

Above that screen is a green diamond high up on the screen and a design that looks like fireworks below the diamond and to the right.

Below that screen is the rest of Mecha Birdo, and far below that is a single gray tile I can stand on but doesn't seem to do anything.

I can shoot parts of Mecha Birdo as I fall, and it makes sounds when hit, but even with the maximum number of hits on any part that responds, nothing happens.

My guess that's the place where Mecha Birdo stays until you trigger the boss battle (sometimes if you die, your head can fall to a room below that has the same design as the one you found).

You can only go to that area in Version 1.0.0 RC1, and you have to beat the final boss first.

Starting from the final save point, press Backspace to return to the room of Divine Transportation, then either use the Kraidgief warp or the Bowser warp to return to the Factory area. Afterwards, press R and you should return to the final save point, but you'll "die" immediately. At this point, the Kid will actually become invincible. Go back towards the beginning of the Final Tower and the camera should switch to the rising platform. Wait where you are and the platform should eventually push you through the ceiling. Walk to the left and you should start falling. If you stay on the right side of the screen (without going over to the next screen on the right), you should land on that ledge, near the save point.
