Newb question on control configuration

Hey, so I just got this game and it'sl great and all, but I'd like to use the WASD configuration instead of the arrow keys with J/K instead of Z/Shift.
How do I do this and get it to save? I can change it once the game starts, but whenever I load the game back up, it won't keep them and I have to change them again. Is there a way it'll save them so I don't have to input them each time?

You cannot save it, unfortunately, as MMF2 sucks.
