Okay. According to IWBTG, I have beaten "The Guy." I know, because my save file says I did. His little face appears in a box and everything.

The problem is, technically, I didn't beat "The Guy."

Or did I?

You see, as I piled on the last bit of damage I needed to take out that damned forsaken right eye for the 3rd time in a row (or the 23984390848945902849023890238494th time in a row, depending on whether you're counting this one time or all the other times I've killed eyes and died before finishing), I failed to notice the spikes flying out of his mouth at me. Well, actually I did notice them. Unfortunately, it was only after they had impaled me. I died.

Then miraculously, I go flying out of a window, and proceed to the ending screen. Thanks for playing!

Wow.

So, my question to you all is: Does it count? I mean, on one hand, you could argue, "How many times have I gotten stuck in a wall and killed by a glitch?" On the other hand, you could say, "Well if you had died in any other game, you'd STILL be dead." So which is it? Did I kill the guy, or am I still in hell, stuck on the last boss, or -- more importantly -- his LAST DAMN RIGHT EYE!

At the save before The Guy, Hold down E-N-D those three letters. That will send you to the credits and most likely give you his picture. Hopefully  that will work.

I got his picture in the save file. My question is do you think the fact that I died after I killed him makes it cheating and therefore technically I didn't win? I like to beat a game fairly because of challenge and whatever bragging rights I might be able to get.
