You will go crazy, It's just a matter of when.

Just keep fighting him, as you spend more time with Sonic, you'll start to understand how to control him.
Once you learn how to control him, it's just a matter of not loosing control.

By my personal experience:
Have Sonic gain speed in a orbit, shoot him once you feel he is at a good range, as he homes back to you repeat from step one.

It's all about gravity management.

Hmm... I always got him to do "u" shapes Firing when he was approaching me the jumping so he would launch into a upper corner then repeating. managed to get the speed run medal on my first try using that method.

Also. I got a new computer and forgot to transfer my final tower save file :c

Well it is pretty rare to find an Iwbtg game with online multiplayer and a character creator which is why I still play the game, (Also I've never beaten the game yet but that's just me.)
