Is there a trick to beating this stupid thing? The fireballs come at me too fast for my tiny little brain to react and jump out of the way. The only thing I can thing of is to open up about 20 youtube videos to make it lag, so I can actually see them coming, but not only is that cheating, but it also messes with my jumps for the running away segments..

Its fireballs shouldn't be that much of a problem, it's the Yellow Devils you should be worried about(but then again, what do I know, I'm not even there yet). But if you want to train your dodging skills, you can download a save that's right before Dracula, and then fight Dracula over and over again, that will surely prepare you for some...epic dodging...skills.

Just don't jump unless you're dodging. Simply fire, and when a fireball comes just double-jump. Worked for me.

When the dragon's on the left, stay on the bottom-right block. When he's on the right, stay on the top-left block. Moving between them just complicates things and leaves you open to nasty surprises.

I stay on the bottom level at all times, actually.

I try and stay on the top right block, myself.

...This boss becomes really easy when you know exactly when and where the dragon will shoot.  If nothing else, watch the dragon while you're fighting it, watch where he is when he shoots the fireballs.  Once you figure out where it's going to be when it shoots the fireball, that part becomes easy.

Just a hint, if you haven't gotten past the Yellow Devil movement segments - he always gets out a shot right before the balls vanish.
